Today I’ve posted my review of the Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS Digital ELPH. Besides having a really long name, the SD1100 is a pretty nice ultra-compact camera, too.

Panasonic intros wireless Lumix DMC-TZ50
Yesterday, Panasonic introduced a wireless-enabled version of their Lumix DMC-TZ5 camera, known as the DMC-TZ50. The TZ50 can send your pictures to Google’s Picasa photo sharing service wirelessly, using your own home network or one of 8000 T-Mobile Hotspots around the country (a free 12-month subscription is included). The privledge will cost you an extra $150 over the regular TZ5, so you really have to want this feature!

Nikon announces Coolpix S52 and wireless S52c
Nikon introduces the Coolpix S52c and S52. Both cameras feature 9.0 megapixel image resolution, a built-in right-angle optical lens shift VR - Vibration Reduction 3x zoom Nikkor lens, and a 3.0-inch LCD monitor. The model S52c offers built-in Wi-Fi support. You can upload, categorize and share your photos directly from the camera to my Picturetown, Nikon’s exclusive image storage and sharing site. Petacon unveils Praktica DVC 5.1 HD camcorder
Pentacon announces the Praktica DVC 5.1 HD digital camcorder. The new camera supports NTSC / PAL / HD 720P resolution at 30 frames per second. Furthermore, the DVC 5.1 features a still image function with resolutions of 3264 x 2448 (8 Mp interpolated), 2576 x 1932 (5 Mp) and 2048 x 1536 (3 Mp), and the images can be stored on 32 MB of built-in memory, or SDHC cards. The new compact camcorder measures 130 x 56 x 68 mm and weights only 292grams. It offers USB 2.0, Video out, and HD out connectivity…
